Run/Walk sponsored by the Williston-Richmond Rotary
The 2024 Deb Beckett Memorial 5K Run and Walk, sponsored by the Williston-Richmond Rotary Club and Williston Recreation and Parks, will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at the Williston Village Community Park. Runners and walkers of all levels are welcome.
This year will feature both a ½ mile and a 1-mile Kids Runs for children 4-12 years of age. Children may opt to participate in the 5K run/ walk or either of the Kids' Runs. There are no fees or pre-registration for the Kids’ Runs. An adult must accompany each participant to the race site and sign a registration form. The accompanying adult is welcome but not required to run with their child or children. Arrangements have been made for adults to run with and supervise the kids.
Check-in for all walks or runs open at 7:00 AM. Please check in as early as possible. There will be signage from Williston Road to the registration/start area.
Runners:
Age Groupings for the Race will be 12 & Under, 13-19, 20-39, 40-59, and 60 & Over.
Runners should arrive to check-in by 8:15 am for an 8:45 am start.
All levels and ages are welcome.
Walkers:
Walkers should arrive for check-in by 7:45 am for an 8:15 am start.
All levels and ages are welcome to participate in the 5K.
Kids Run:
Children should arrive for registration by 7:15 am for the 7:45 am start for the ½ mile and the 8:00 am start for the 1 mile.
There is No Fee for the Kids Run. Pre-registration is not required. There will be on-site registration.
Note: an adult may accompany a child in this race, but this is not required.
Proceeds from the run/walk support numerous Rotary Club Community Projects.
PRE-REGISTRATION: (Deadline is June 16, 2024)
FEES: $25 per person- ages 17 years and older
$15 per person- ages 16 and younger
All pre-registered runners and walkers are guaranteed a souvenir race shirt and water bottle.
ON-SITE REGISTRATION:
FEES: $30 per person- ages 17 years and older
$20 per person- ages 16 and younger
Shirts and water bottles will be available on a first-come, first-served basis until gone.
