Woman Teaching Child to Swim
The Recreation Dept. and The Edge of Williston are teaming up to offer youth group swim lessons.  The lessons introduce swimming techniques and increases safety skills around the water.  Following Red Cross guidelines, each level provides a building block for the next.  

The EDGE will prepare everyone in your family for years of safe, efficient swimming.  Group lessons will be offered at the Williston club location and each session lasts one month.  Your child will have one 30-minute lesson per week, for four weeks.

Lessons are held at The Edge of Williston.

Swim Program Offerings:
Splash Infant Toddler Group Lessons (6mos-3yrs)
‘Splash’ classes allow children, accompanied by a parent or caregiver, to discover the water through song, play, and specific skills. The lessons help children develop aquatic readiness skills in a safe environment. Splash classes are offered on Saturdays.

Preschool Group Lessons (3-5yrs)
In ‘Preschool’ classes children learn in small groups (4:1) under the supervision of a trained instructor who encourages swimmers to be safe, try new things and swim with confidence. Students usually take at least 8 weeks to complete a level.
